This individual will play a pivotal role in defining technical project specifications and providing strategic direction for technology solutions.
This role collaborates closely with the Business Lead to develop technical project specifications. The Digital Lead may be identified during the analysis phase, but this phase cannot be completed without the deliverables provided by the Digital Lead.
Candidates for this role should possess a high level of understanding of the technical needs required to achieve project goals and the digital infrastructure necessary for the recommended technical solution.
This role may be filled internally or externally. Responsibilities : Set technical vision and own technology strategies, including infrastructure, data and integration, and overall architecture Provide IT perspective on scoping decisions Own Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), licensing, and infrastructure inputs to business case Contribute to roadmap development and implementation strategy from an IT standpoint Ensure clear "architectural runway" for next phases Review Feature Integration Scenarios Ensure System Team receives appropriate support for Scrum team Review team progress and remove critical impediments Review Testing Progress Determine support for production application, including backups, disaster recovery, system performance, transportation, release, and project management Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs Key Skills : 5 years of experience designing, developing, and operating in a complex ERP / CRM system environment (Experience with Dynamics / Salesforce or SAP preferred) Knowledge of functional domains such as Sales, Contracting, Procurement, Finance, with exposure to other areas of the business preferred Proficiency in microservices architecture, integration frameworks (APIs), etc.
