TECHNICAL MANAGER, OE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
- Create an action-based culture of continuous improvement and increase CI and Lean-oriented thinking throughout the organization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and enhancing technical capabilities to maximize efficiency and quality of deliverables.
- Use agile methodologies to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical solutions in alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and ensure the successful execution of technical projects within established timelines and budgets (new product development support, parts replacements, drawing updates, new accessories, etc).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Make recommendations on product feature standardization to streamline order management.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to drive Employee engagement and shape the future of the ATS engineering department and our organization.
- Some travel required to visit customers, consulting engineers or field offices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Should have thorough knowledge of product and market applications, either from on-the-job experience at ASCO, or work-related experience from other jobs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
- Exceptional collaborator: self-aware, empathetic towards others, and able to deliver results as a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse communication styles, priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure business objectives are met
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering organization (building the best teams, helping individuals uncover their hidden potential, etc.)
