POSITION: District Registrar
REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology
START DATE: Upon Board Approval
Job Goal: Responsible for continuous operation of the district data network and for the input, output and processing of district applications including student information systems. Is accountable for the collection, recording, and recovery of the districts information.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):
- High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent

One to three years in Database and PC experience

Google Chrome Management preferred
-
Microsoft Office Specialist preferred

Experience with student information systems preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:

Entering and managing data within the districts database software
-
Maintaining up-to-date and precise student records, enabling effective decision-making and resource allocation.

Conduct training sessions for registrars (clerk 2) across the district, focus on enhancing the skills and knowledge of registrars in their respective roles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Serve as the compliance monitor and tracker for student health records, with a specific emphasis on immunization records across all grade levels.

Maintaining up-to-date and precise transfer, enrollment and immunization records

Ensuring the information is enter accurately in the system and follow proper procedures for formatting and securing data

Maintain databases for various types of activities and functionalities

Retrieve data from a database relating to administrative tasks and functions

Responsible for the collection, recording and retrieval of information

Experience in the Skyward School Management Software Program

Assign and maintain appropriate security level account access to District and users of Skyward School Management System

Generate and export data files utilized for mandatory scheduled state reporting to the Indiana Department of Education

Run/Print report cards and forms
-
Sign, burst, and decollate data processing forms

Maintain the student database throughout the district by entering enrollees, entering changes to the existing database and coding students properly

Keeps student database files up to date, including free and reduced lunch applications, student history files, student medical information, book rental fees, delinquencies, grades, and attendance

Help desk with district data network operations and student system data base users

Assist counselors and principal with master schedule

Notify data processing manager immediately of system malfunctions

Training of teachers, clerks, and users in operation maintenance of districts student database and programs

Will need to efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive or confidential

Any and all assigned duties
Salary
Range $45-$55K based on experience
Working Conditions and Physical Environment
Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer terminal; hear and understand speech at normal levels; physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds; to bend, to stoop, to sit on the floor, to climb stairs, to walk and to reach overhead.
