Kindergarten Teacher

Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual for a Kindergarten Teacher at

Milton West Elementary. This position will begin August 16, 2023. Come join our team in educating and guiding our

students to success in the future!

A competitive starting salary of $47,394 is offered for a 190-day contract for individuals that have a Bachelor’s degree.

Additional compensation is available for candidates with prior years of teaching experience in public education and

additional education beyond a bachelor’s degree. A competitive benefits package is also included.

Qualifications:

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates

should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and be able to differentiate instruction within the

classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the

school and district; and assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives. High energy, a positive

attitude, and compassion towards others are a must!

Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Regular Education – 1777 and have the appropriate

position code for Kindergarten students.
