• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned to the curriculum and learning standards.
• Establish a culture for learning within the classroom that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress.

• Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a middle school ELA endorsement.
• Must have either an ESL endorsement or Bilingual Endorsement (preferably Spanish).
• Ability to assess student learning and modify or enhance instruction as needed.
• Ability to analyze various forms of data to make informed instructional decisions.
• Knowledge of learning styles and skill in using standards-based varied teaching methods.
• Proficiency in incorporating technology to enhance instruction.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population and establish open communication with parents and guardians.
