Job Summary
The ARC Certification Officer is responsible for coordinating the ARC application and admission processes. This position is responsible for daily interaction with potential applicants providing information on the Alternate Route to Teacher Certification model as well as needed state and program requirements. Once applicants are admitted to the program, the ARC Certification Officer is responsible in coordinating appropriate practicum placements while providing clear communication to schools and candidates.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Two (2) years of related work experience.
- Current Michigan Teaching Certification.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Michigan Department of Education teacher certification rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in related field.
