Job Category: Manufacturing/Operations Job Family: Plant Production Work Shift: Red Nights (United States of America) Job Description: ** Offering $2 night shift premium for any hours worked 7pm-7am** Position Title: Autocaser Shift: Red Nights 7p-7a Division: Stephenville Full Time Department/Location: Slice/Chunk Title of Immediate Leader: Slice/Chunk Team Leader/Team Advisor Base Rate: $19.23 Reviewed by: HR Team Leader Position Purpose: Responsible for the setup and operation of the Slice/Chunk Auto Case Packing Machines. Operates equipment and inspects packaged slice cheese product within the department during case packaging operations. Facilitate quick changeovers by cleaning, emptying trays and tubs, and assisting where needed. Other duties may be assigned. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Essential Functions: Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements. Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements. Load packaging material into the packaging system, either automatic or manual by-pass. Input and change case packaging codes per production order instructions. Loads tape and/or glue into box closing systems. Assist in color, size and style changes, remove product, empty trays and tubs and assist in cleanup of equipment. Maintain Process Control Points, record data accordingly. Must be able to read production orders, while remaining flexible to change to meet customer needs. Operate and maintain TKF case conveying equipment. Must be able to bend over, squat, twist and stoop during the performance of work duties. Assist in color, size and style changes, remove product, empty trays and tubs, and assist in clean equipment. Assist in other clean-up and house keeping duties. Non-Essential Functions: (Occasional duties not included above). Keep area clean and debris out of work area. NOTE: If you change shift, and/or department you must reschedule your vacation accordingly. Educational/Experience/Skills Required: (Minimum Level) EDUCATION: X High School Diploma/G.E.D. Associate Degree Technical School Certificate/License College Bachelor’s Degree Master’s Degree EXPERIENCE: Type: Production Number of Years: N/A (Seniority Based) Other: Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job. Successful Partners must follow and maintain PCP’s and Safety Procedures. Must maintain attendance below 3%. Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds. All Auto Case Packer Operator bid holders must become cross functional with all positions on the line. SKILLS: (Describe any special skill and/or requirements applicable to this position).
