Job Description
Schreiner Group is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst. The Quality Assurance Analyst main responsibility is to detect and prevent mistakes or defects in products form going to our customer. Working hours are from 6:05am - 4:20pm Monday through Thursday and if required, mandatory overtime on Fridays- 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Conduct periodic and routine inspections/audits on production floor and in other departments, as needed.
Recognize, report and record internal deviations to normal operating procedure as it pertains to documentation and the manufacturing of labels.
Review in process documents including, but not limited to, job jackets, control plans, samples, test results, core labels in all areas of production and prepress.
Maintain Quality system records and documents as needed, conduct gap analysis when assigned.
Inspect completed work to certify that product meets standards, and that the product is ready for release to customer.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) or higher educational degree.
2-3 years’ experience in quality control in a manufacturing, printing environment.
Intermediate level of computer knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suites.
Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and Lean Management is a plus.
Ability to lift 20-45 pounds.
Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Work activity requires repetitive bending, reaching, walking, stooping, and crouching, lifting, and climbing. Job duties also require regular use of fingers and hand
