Concrete Finisher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete for commercial costruction. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare the worksite by setting up forms and ensuring proper alignment

- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using rakes or shovels

- Smooth and level the surface using hand trowels or power screeds

- Repair any imperfections or cracks in the concrete surface

- Follow blueprints or design specifications to ensure accurate placement and finishing of the concrete

- Operate equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers as needed

- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after each use

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to concrete finishing - especially a power trowell

- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to concrete work

- Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding design specifications

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Commercial driving experience is a plus)

- Ability to work at heights and on roofs if necessary

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Trim carpentry or frame carpentry skills are desirable but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.50 - $30.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
