What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulser Technician-OKC position at Scientific Drilling Inc.?
Scientific Drilling is looking for a Pulser Technician to work at our Yukon, Oklahoma location. Scientific Drilling is an independent directional drilling and wellbore navigation, surveying and logging service company serving customers worldwide. Our industry leading navigation systems provide definitive wellbore placement information, enabling safer and more efficient placement of tightly spaced wellbores throughout the world. Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of Scientific Drilling Pulsers (used for MWD Operations)
- Test and troubleshoot any/all functioning issues on tools received from operations
- Disassemble clean and inspect tool components for wear and/or damage
- Assemble, function test and ready tools for deployment to operations
- Able to use solenoid test system to qualify tools for deployment
- Fill out all required forms, records and documents used in the manufacture/service of Scientific Drilling Pulsers
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School and/or Associates Degree
- 2-3 years' experience in using mechanical tools and equipment
- Previous work experience in oil field tool maintenance desired
