Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with Bank of America's strategic objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Bank of America stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management as necessary.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and within approved limits.
- Prepare financial reports and provide forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct project reviews and retrospectives, identifying areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management or delivery leadership, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
