Candidates for this position should have extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. The right candidate will have a customer service orientation and be proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources. Experience installing and supporting PC and laptop hardware and software are standard requirements.
Scot Forge has 600 end users, 1000 devices, and multiple locations with some travel to Clinton, WI and Franklin Park, IL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-
- Responsible for the deployment and configuration for desktop computers, mobile devices, desktop phones and A/V systems
- Actively participate with the help desk in support of sustaining operations and PC/Client troubleshooting and installation
- PC Builds and general IT endpoint support
- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of end user client hardware and software
- External applications and technical support
- Telephone Moves/ Adds/ Changes (MAC)
- Audio/ visual and conference room support
- Network installation and cabling infrastructure
- Peripherals issuance and tracking
- IT inventory activities
- Providing professional and high level customer service to end users
- Working onsite and in person at our facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS-
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Network Administration.
- 1 – 2 years of professional level IT experience with the following technical skills -
- Administration experience in end user applications (Windows/Office/Teams/ CAD, One Drive, Share Point, etc)
- Back up/ recover technologies
- Mobile and tablet applications
- Networking experience
- Audio / visual technologies
