Under general supervision, the Day Camp Counselor provides care, supervision and program facilitation for assigned day camp attendees.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides direct and shared supervision of up to 60 children (ages 6 to 12), in activities, crafts, songs, skits, games, hiking, field trips, scavenger hunts, swimming, and cook outs. Adheres to safe work conditions; reports potential hazards to supervisor. Performs first aid and/or CPR if necessaryDemonstrates the ability to exemplify, by his/her actions, the County PRIDE philosophy.Performs related duties as assigned.

License and Certification RequirementsMust be CPR/First Aid certified or have the ability to obtain certification after hire. Physical Demands and Working Environment: Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
