PAY & BENEFITS:

 

  • Base pay of $14.00 - $17.00 / hour plus gratuity (up to $10.00 per hour).

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

 

The Banquet Setup Captain’s primary duties are to help set up / tear down for events in the conference center while providing excellent customer service. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

 

  • Executes and oversees the setup, tear down, and servicing of events, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment.
  • Ensures event orders and diagrams are executed correctly. 
  • Follow guidelines and procedures for food and beverage service. 
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the banquet areas for service.
  • Assists the Banquet Manager and Catering Team as needed. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
  • Comfortable on a ladder up to 12 ft.

  • Maintain a flexible schedule that fits with the needs of our clients and the company.
  • Job will require nights and weekends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
