We SCOUT the world to carefully find and create our collections. We offer limited run Scout Label furniture, exclusive artwork, customizable designs and vintage finds. Located in the Dallas Design District, our 15,000 square foot showroom houses a well-edited collection of new and vintage furniture, artwork, lighting and home accessories from around the globe. We offer in-house refinishing services for vintage furniture and ship across the United States.

About the job

The Showroom Coordinator will support the Digital and Sales department in the showroom and perform various other administrative and inventory related tasks as needed.

Job Duties

Showroom floor readiness

  • Retrieve any necessary items from the warehouse or coordinating transfer
  • Regular inventory audit to ensure new items are sent to showroom
  • Assist with merchandise tagging process
  • Website audits – in-stock and pre-order checks
  • Rug inventory maintenance
  • Assist with rug sample kit

Managing showroom styling and vibe

  • Energy, burns, candles
  • Chopping pillows
  • Lamp shade orientation
  • Swivel orientation
  • Showroom flowers

Client support

  • Handwritten thank-you notes assistance
  • Assist with mood board development
  • Manage in-store/retail email sign up
  • Support sales team in purchasing process
  • Assist in preparing/tracking/managing/shipping sample inventory

Other duties

  • General showroom tidiness
  • Ensuring all office supplies are well stocked
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order
  • Occasional lunch pickup
  • UPS package drop offs
  • Client fridge stocking

Skills, Education and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of Mac based systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, college education preferred.
  • Experience in the home decor and furnishings industry is a plus.
  • Retail sales experience is highly recommended.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Showroom in the Dallas Design District. The employee can expect to be frequently moving throughout the showroom while helping customers and performing various duties. Lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
