JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This is a part-time position based out of the Scout Digital office space located in Burlington, VT. This position will be remote enabled.
Scout Digital seeks a self-motivated and results-driven Designer who has a passion for building great design systems. You will support both the marketing and design departments across a wide range of client projects and design deliverables. You’ll assist leadership in shaping the upcoming marketing strategies for our new and existing products and help ensure that clients get to know and love our approach to web design.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Creating and iterating on beautiful designs across multiple departments, from conception to client sign-off
Designing the front end of our clients' sites and meeting all internal deadlines and client deliverables for the work assigned to you
Translating design into reality, using Scout Digital Word Press page builder platforms as necessary
Producing offline marketing materials to assist in lead generation and omni-channel marketing materials for Scout Digital within the Marketing department
Regularly communicating with team members through each step of the design process
Staying abreast of graphic and web design, and UI & UX best practices, and applying that knowledge to the work you do for our clients and educational opportunities for other team members
JOB SPECIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Abilities:
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to and create style standards on fonts, colors, and images
Work independently and as part of a team to establish project deliverables
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to prioritize work and projects and multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products
Nice-Haves:
2-3 years of experience in the design field
Experience in UX/UI Design
User testing experience
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
