What you'll be doing:
The core functionality of the Operations Analyst is to provide data analysis, reporting, and support of the Medical Director plan. This role is expected to clearly communicate with all stakeholders the opportunity to improve operations. The Operations Analyst is expected to be highly organized and manage disparate information and propose solutions. To be successful in this position, the desired candidate would have strong communication skills, analytical proficiency, and a strong sense of urgency. Success in this position will also be determined by execution, and follow-through in all aspects of their job. The expectation is that the candidate will provide leadership in a complex, information asymmetric, and fast-paced environment to deliver results consistently and accurately.

Collaboration The Operations Analyst is expected to work with all members of the operating team to help facilitate a team environment. They are also expected to provide guidance to the Regional Medical Officers, VPs of Operations, and Medical Directors. Due to the nature of the work, it is also expected that the Operations Analyst will provide support to any outside departments that require assistance in understating the inputs and outputs of the reporting and analysis.
- Communicate effectively with our operating teams and medical directors in support of achieving their medical director plans.
- Perform monthly analysis and reporting of key information for circulation to senior management.
- Work directly with client facilities in conjunction with SCP operations teams to produce solutions for client needs that maintain a positive ROI for our company.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage workload and produce results independently and without excessive supervision.
- Support with the financial planning and budgeting process.
- Perform or assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned including but not limited to development and monitoring of revenue, expenses, key performance metrics, presentations for senior management meetings and projects assigned by the Director, Operational Finance.
- Compile, evaluate, and transform information from various systems and databases for use in financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and be effective and decisive under pressure.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional operators and be a key resource to them for revenue and cost related operations questions.
- Expected to carefully consider manner in which work is presented and include summarized analysis, data, and visual presentation that is most appropriate for each situation.
- All work should be done in a way that is traceable, explainable, and with thought to how it can be easily replicated for various scenario changes.
- Must communicate and work effectively with other departments including but not limited to: IT, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Revenue Cycle Services, and Operations.
Who/What we are looking for:
- You have 3 years of experience with data analytics and reporting.
- You have previous experience in healthcare industry, a plus.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite with expert skills utilizing Excel.
- Prior exposure to VBA; JavaScript; MicroStrategy; Oracle BI; Tableau; SASS; R; STATA; HOST Analytics; Workday, a plus.
- Knowledge of relational / multi-dimensional databases, ability to write SQL; MDX Queries, a plus.
- Data analysis skills including but not limited to: cleaning and analysis.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic, time sensitive environment.
- Excellent multi-tasking ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
