Warehouse- Equipment Assembly/Driver

Job Description: We are looking to add to our team by hiring a professional New Clinic Install Technician who will be responsible for assembling new equipment, loading up our truck, driving it to the new clinic location, unloading it, setting it up and training the clinic employees on how to use the equipment. The position is based out of our Bolingbrook, IL office and would include traveling to locations across the United States. This is primarily a Monday- Friday position and you’ll be home most weekends. This position will also assist the Warehouse when free time exists.

Primary Responsibilities: Load, deliver, unload, assemble and deploy clinic capital equipment and supplies for new physical therapy clinics scheduled to open throughout the United States. Work with the purchasing department to ensure that we have the inventory needed for upcoming installs. When you aren’t traveling, you’ll be working in our office/warehouse preparing for the next install.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Operate a 26’ foot diesel truck with lift gate and navigate to out of state addresses
• Load and unload truck, secure equipment for safe transportation
• Long haul driving
• Trouble shoot and solve problems while on the job
• Travel 50-60% of the time; Need to have the ability to be away from home multiple nights

Requirements:

• Have the aptitude to assemble and disassemble fitness, cardio, therapy furniture and weight equipment according to manufacture specifications.
• Must have the ability to relate to customers, represent the company in a positive manner and display confidence and knowledge to the customer.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and have no lifting restrictions
• Possess a current Class C driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
• Must be willing to obtain CDL, if needed
• Operate a standup reach truck forklift
• Must be able to work independently and be self-directed
• Accept responsibility for successfully completing an installation
• Attention to detail
• Basic MS Office skills-ability to enter information into Excel and manage daily email communication in Outlook.
• Possess organizational skills that translate to efficient processes during the installation
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes
• Professional appearance and ability to work within a medical environment
• Ability to use basic mechanical tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
