Overview of the Position
As the Staff Financial Analyst for Kindthread you will play an integral role in supporting financial planning and analysis as well as identifying operational efficiencies and developing insightful reporting.
Essential Job Duties
- Report financial and operational performance with commentary on key drivers.
- Lead or assist in a variety of ad-hoc analyses, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop authoritative knowledge of financial and operational systems.
- Support management decisions with data-driven insights.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced Excel skills (complex modeling, advanced formulas)
- VBA, SQL, R, Python or other analytics programming experience a plus
- Familiarity with large datasets, relational databases, and enterprise systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail
- Solution-oriented mindset with eagerness to improve existing processes and identify new opportunities
- High level of initiative with ability to self-direct and learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work well with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in an environment that is rapidly changing, where processes and procedures are in development.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or data analytics
