SCS is looking for an IT Systems Engineer who will oversee and manage the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of various systems or processes that involve hardware, software, networks, licensing, and other components. You will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure that the systems they work on are reliable, efficient, and secure. The Systems Engineer also provides technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for the systems they are responsible for. This position is FT on-site initially but eventually could be hybrid.

Pay range for this position is $ 80K to $120K/year depending on experience. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure that the systems they work on are reliable, efficient, and secure. The Systems Engineer also provides technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for the systems they are responsible for. This position is FT on-site initially but eventually could be hybrid.

- Partner with business stakeholders to review and understand business requirements.
- Document and review technical specifications with cross-functional teams.
- Support the project through the entire development lifecycle from initial kick-off to production deployment.
- Participate in commercial-off-the-shelf product evaluation and selection.
- Manage software licensing and keep all software licenses current.
- Oversee the effective managing of user logon privileges.
- Oversee and participate in troubleshooting of application or data issues.
- Manage the Moves, Adds and changes of PCs, Printers, Copiers, and Telephones, and contracts.
- Performs engineering design evaluations.
- Resolves software related problems and all technical issues involving SCS servers and systems.
- Maintain Server network performance through the implementation of best practices, security patches and service packs on a managed and continuous basis.
- Assist Help Desk when required.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assignedQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Systems Engineer role is required. If no degree then a minimum of 15 years’ IT experience is required.
- Active Certifications required MCSA
- Active Certifications preferred such as AWS Sysops, AWS Cloud, ComTIA Security
