Caregiver/Personal Assistant/Companion

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and senior care needs. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This is a paid position with immediate availability. Responsibilities: - Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and senior care needs - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders - Implement behavior support plans and assist with behavior management strategies - Monitor and record vital signs as needed - Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients - Provide emotional support and companionship to clients - Administer first aid when necessary - Assist with heavy lifting as required Requirements: - Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or senior care is preferred - Knowledge of direct support systems and techniques - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism - Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening and weekend shifts - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Please note that all positions at our organization are paid.
