Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking an excellent EXPERIENCED sales associate with a minimum of 1 year experience in retail sales. This position involves selling, restocking and merchandising. Excellent customer service is our goal and the sales associate is our means of achieving it. The sales associate is responsible for greeting and assisting the customers as well as maintaining the appearance of the store and the merchandise.
We are looking for individuals who must have a proven track record of success in sales and are team-oriented. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and energetic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential. The sales associate is responsible for providing an outstanding client experience, meeting or exceeding sales objectives, and working to create a positive, inviting, and fun environment for the client.
This is accomplished by:
- Being enthusiastic and demonstrating a passion for sales
- Creating a relationship with the client
- Demonstrating outstanding product knowledge to educate the client and address their needs
- Understanding available inventory within the store
- At a minimum, must meet sales objectives for any given quarter
- Clearly understanding daily sales objectives and how it relates to weekly and monthly targets
- Focusing on developing long-term relationships with the client so that they are more likely to be a return customer
- Attending training sessions to increase product knowledge
- Dressing professionally
- Working with management to ensure that the store is clean and attractive at all times
- Support management with inventory counts
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a team setting
- A willingness to learn and master product information
Qualifications
- A passion for sales, and delivering the highest quality customer experience
- Must be up to date with the tech world
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week.
- Must have a polished and professional appearance with a positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
