This is what your day may look like:

• Manage Delivery and/or Shuttle

• Work closely with other transportation managers, ensuring routes and deliveries are accurately executed.

• Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR’s, and Hours of service records.

• Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team environment.

• Ability to inspire and recruit team members, providing training as needed.

• Manage a team of independent professional contractors.

• Manage and monitor performance metrics- including survey and safety scores.

• Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale.

• Interact heavily with Store Management, Customer Care and other departments within Rooms To Go on a daily basis.

• Monitor all deliveries and routes in DispatchTrack from start to finish.

What we require:

• Minimum 2 years of logistics management experience

• Expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices

• Strong problem solving and leadership skills

• Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations

• Ability to work flex schedule and be on call as needed
