Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move and launch customers boats with Wiggins forklift. This is a vital role in our marina operations and requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Fuel, wash, handle customer inquiries about their boats
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance issues
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other marina duties as needed
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain forklift equipment
- Experience operating different types of forklifts such as Wiggins Bulls
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience as a forklift operator preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
