Construction Installer

INSTALLER JOB DESCRIPTION

As an installer, you will be hands-on, in the field working at various job-sites throughout the city. You must have experience with construction job-sites and know how to present yourself professionally and in a way that is consistent with our company values.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

• Work without close supervision
• Read installation drawings, blueprints and other job specifications
• Prep job site for installation as required
• Stage and set up materials
• Install product per shop drawings
• Manage cleanup and trash removal for job site, leaving home/work area(s) cleaner than condition at arrival
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions and maintain excellent service throughout completion.
• Maintain your tools and work environment in a safe and clean way.
• Respect the areas in which you work as if they were your own.
• Must be able to life 50 pounds.

Experience and Training:

• Two years of construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general safety practices or OSHA training.
• Experience in some aspect of carpentry, steel, construction
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Knowledge of general construction practices and details.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to read layouts from blueprints.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Ability to layout your work and think through job-site/building issues to assure an excellent installed product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
