Associate Director of Annual Giving
The Associate Director of Annual Giving is responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan for Seabury Hall’s annual fund, known as the Laulima Fund, which is the foundation for the school’s fundraising initiatives. The fundraising plan will include goals, strategies, and multimedia programming to increase revenue for Seabury Hall. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is expected to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward meaningful relationships with a portfolio of leadership Laulima Fund donors. The position is charged with all aspects of Laulima Fund volunteer organizations, including recruitment, management, and training. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is a member of the Advancement team and reports to the Director of Advancement.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in a development-related role, preferably in an educational environment. Must demonstrate understanding of direct mail fundraising or marketing and program implementation.
  • Appreciation for and commitment to independent school education and culture.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, including working collaboratively with all the school’s constituents while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strategic thinker who will adequately convey Seabury Hall’s mission and vision.
  • Excellent time management skills, computer proficiency in Google Business Suite, and working familiarity with fundraising databases, specifically Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT.
