Our community-based mental health organization provides peer support services to individuals living with mental illness. Our services are designed to promote recovery, build resilience, and enhance the overall quality of life of our clients. We understand that living with mental illness can be challenging, and we strive to provide a safe and welcoming space where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences.


WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As the Wellness and Recovery Lead Generalist, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting staff generalists to ensure member engagement and participation. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating assessments, planning, and follow-up reporting. With a deep understanding of mental illness and acquired brain disorders, you will implement beneficial accommodations and tools to enhance work success for members both within the clubhouse environment and in external workplaces.


DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of work experience in the mental health field or assisting people with cognitive or physical disabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting people in reaching their potential and having the highest quality of life possible

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, occupational therapy, human services, behavioral health, or a related field
  • Experience with caregiving or supporting individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions
