The Director, US Pricing and Analytics is accountable for establishing and leading the company’s US pricing operations and analytics team. In the current political climate with evolving State and Federal price legislation and contracting complexities, the Director will lead the US Pricing and Analytics team and execute Government mandated and commercial contracting, mandated and commercial rebate processing, state price reporting, and pricing operations and analytics functions.
The Director, Pricing and Analytics, will report to the Senior Director, US Market Access, and Pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial contract operations to include:
- Rebate processing
- Administrative fee validations
- Existing and new contract reviews
- Execute pricing operations to support strategic pricing decisions
- Produce accurate and complete analysis in mandated and commercial segments to support pricing strategies
- Lead team to execute mandated pricing strategies to include:
- 340B program compliance
- Medicaid, MediGap, Tricare, VA rebate strategies
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert regarding all aspects of the mandated programs and processes
- Lead state pricing transparency reporting compliance in collaboration with legal
- Inform GVA and Pricing Committee program updates and potential business and/or pricing implications on a regular basis
- Collaborate with commercial finance to inform forecast trends, accruals, and actuals
- Partner with finance teams to ensure timely rebate payments and supporting analytics
- Act as an enthusiastic, positive change agent, and creates consensus for new ideas and initiatives to ensure their development, implementation, and maximum positive effect on business performance
- Provide accurate proactive and reactive reporting, analytics and insights to the business that informs key stakeholders and pricing team
- Develop documentation and formalization of policies and SOPs
- Select and manage all vendors/agencies successfully and effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of relevant industry experience
- 4 years of government programs, account management, managed markets experience (preferred)
- In-depth understanding of required government rebate programs (340B, Medicaid, Medicare Part D)
- Skilled at resolving conflicts and facilitating positive change to ensure fulfillment of commercial objectives. Adept at negotiating to meet or exceed business objectives
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding results and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals
- Strong technical knowledge including ability to work in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and other like resources necessary to complete job duties
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills up, down and across the organization
- Excellent analytical capabilities for business presentations and quarterly business reviews
- Willingness to embrace new challenges in a rapidly changing healthcare environment
- Ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, including effectively navigating sensitive conversations as necessary
- 25% business travel will be required
