- Receiving functions of returned equipment to verify against reason codes.
- Determining which units are to be repaired, rebuilt, or scrapped.
- Capturing data stored within equipment and attaching this information to the unit’s history in the system
- Troubleshooting of used equipment
- Cleaning and analyzing of parts and assemblies to determine usability
- Sanding and painting as required to meet quality expectations
- Perform wiring, assembly and soldering as required following standard methods and procedures
- Testing, setup, and calibration of equipment to ensure reliability
- Requisition needed parts and supplies
- Record time and production information required and maintain assigned records in proper manner
- Use and analyze electrical test equipment for troubleshooting of parts and assemblies
- Plan and assemble in prescribed proper sequence a wide variety of parts and components and various other interrelated mechanical, pneumatic, electrical/electronic assemblies
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, measuring devices, computer, and programs, as well as basic testers common to assembly operations to fix equipment
- Use and analyze electrical test equipment for troubleshooting of parts and assemblies
- Knowledge of mechanics, electrical/electronic circuits, assembly methods and procedures and packaging machines and systems
- High school diploma/GED
- Operate with efficiency a computer with knowledge of an ERP system
- Observe all prescribed or standard safety rules and regulations
