Summary Shift: 1st shift Pay range $30.00-$33.00/ DOE and hiring manager will determine amount within the range Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning, electromechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process. Performs maintenance on equipment including welding, machine servicing, and light fabrication. Also performs general construction and building maintenance. Job Description Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Maintain and repair trucks, forklifts, and assorted hand tools. Fabricate parts, assemble machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals, or drawings and perform electrical work as required by task. Interface with internal and external customers in the trouble-shooting process and in the preventive maintenance of production equipment. Create and repair dies and jigs according to engineering and automation specs. Coordinate parts ordering. General building services and maintenance as requested by Supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures. Comply with all policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to management. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; and / or four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools
• Experience working in a team environment
• Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks
• Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools and ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack)
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Requires intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and employees of the company.
