Position Overview: The candidate will work to create and enforce a culture of safety within our organization and jointly implement programs, policies, and assessments to ensure the company and all of its employees are in compliance with all federal health and safety regulations. They will review reports and findings to monitor performance and detect trends related to health and safety. The candidate should be familiar with but not limited to the following regulatory programs such as PPE, Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tag out, Blood Borne Pathogen, Machine Guarding, Forklift, Hazard Communication.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or a minimum of 5 years experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position – previous manufacturing industry a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in leading / directing / implementing Safety programs. Some knowledge of environmental policies and procedures, SDS, GHS. Experience in facility infrastructure management desired.
