Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving Inspector monitors, inspects and samples incoming deliveries to ensure quality of items and order accuracy.
- Receiving Inspector inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to engineering drawings, parts manuals, company specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Receiving Inspector completes First Article Inspections as required for new product development
- Receiving Inspector reviews Supplier Performance data on monthly basis and manages and audits Vendor Corrective Action Request as required to drive improvements in incoming quality.
- Receiving Inspector completes timely and accurate stock sweeps and coordinates disposition on NCMs in events of material discrepancy detection.
- Receiving inspector completes periodic "out of box" audits on outgoing shipments to ensure compliance to customer purchase orders requirements
- Receiving Inspector is responsible for managing MRB inventory and ensuring correctness of material movements in the ERP system.
- Receiving inspector helps with the management of the calibration system and internal audits
Qualifications Required:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically, as some product packages are large
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
- Interpersonal skills are essential for Quality Department personnel
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
- Personal accountability and integrity are paramount for all Quality Department personnel
