Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prep surfaces of wood, MDF, and HDF prior to finish
• Communicate effectively with team members of job readiness
• Time management
• Using your genius to help find new and improved processes
• Ensuring sanding standards are met to the highest standard
• Duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Great attitude, willing to learn and be adaptable

• Maintain workplace safety & cleanliness

• Willing to create and follow standard work processes

• No experience necessary as we will train the right person

• Use of basic shop equipment

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Able to lift cabinet components

• knowledge of sandpaper grits

Job Title: Sander

Job Purpose:

The sanding position is an integral member of the Sean’s Cabinetry team, responsible for delivering quality results and service to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure stock of area for days jobs (consumables)

- Follow direction and assist in the sanding of all jobs assigned to the crew lead

- Assist with moving cabinets to cold storage in order

- Cleaning at the end of the day (blow down, garbage, etc.)

- Placing returning items in proper areas (stain match near customer’s area, etc.)

Qualifications Required:

- Team Driven – support team members in processes to ensure

customers expectations are exceeded

- Communication - the ability to communicate effectively with team and

company, personable and customer service orientated

- Basic math skills and accuracy in reading/understanding measurements

Preferred: Previous sanding experience

Working location: Shop. Located in Cokato, MN.

Physical Requirements:

- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting

- Ability to lift 5- 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour
