Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. SeaQuest is looking for a Safari Team Member who will enhance the guest experience by creating a warm, inviting, and world-class environment throughout the facility. We are seeking team members with a passion for key performance indicator sales-driven results and significant commission opportunities. With proven sales experience, this position has the potential for bonus pay that's equal to or greater than the hourly pay rate. Safari Team Members are responsible for assisting guests and reporting directly to the Safari Team Manager. Safari Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Offer specials promoted by SeaQuest, explain products in the gift shop and, assist customers with selecting merchandise.
- Assist with inventory.
- Ensure store visual merchandising and presentation standards are implemented.
- Up-sell products and activities to elevate the guest experience.
- Required to work with animals.
- Help create shift schedules for department rotations.
Safari Team Lead Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Third-key or Shift manager experience preferred.
- A theme park, zoo, science center, or attraction background preferred.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively.
- Cheerful, positive attitude with a willingness to be a team player.
- POS experience.
- Experience with animals is a plus.
- Experience opening and closing tills.
- Previous Lead experience.
Education:
- A degree in the related field is preferred but not necessary.
Schedule:
- Full-time.
- Monday-Friday.
- Weekends.
- Holidays.
