What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk/Cashier position at Seascape Resort?
Overview:
Seascape Resort is seeking a part-time accounting clerk/cashier. Applicant must possess strong cash handling experience and be able to make multiple banks with appropriate speed and accuracy. Excel and QuickBooks experience are a plus. M-F 9:00-1:00.
Duties:
- Operate a cash bank and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist restaurant managers with reconciling daily deposits.
- Make bank deposits for daily income, and take deposits to the bank to drop off.
- Organize and manage cashier bank.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Use basic math skills to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Requirements:
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash transactions.
- Ability to operate a cash register and manage cash handling responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues verbally and via email.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
