Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive assessments of patient's medical conditions and develop treatment plans
Diagnose and treat patients by prescribing medications and performing procedures
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
Monitor patient progress and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients on health and wellness topics, including disease prevention and management
Document patient visits and other medical information in electronic health records (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other healthcare-related committees
Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of EHR and other healthcare technology tools
Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
