we’re looking for a PRN Resident Counselor to join our team! You’ll help consumers with on-site problem solving, development and implementation plans to meet immediate and/or long-term needs while in Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS).
To join our team, you’ll need:
Problem-solving skills to engage psychiatric consumers during EPS treatment programs
Compassion and empathy while maintaining continuous and consistent communication with consumers while admitted to EPS treatment programs
A collaborated spirit working with staff, supervisors, and consumers
Effective communication skills to support consumers during crisis episodes to seek resolution
Flexibility to changing needs that help support the best outcomes for consumers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Health-related field (Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work)
Experience in supporting individuals during crisis within a treatment program
Proficient in taking vital signs
COVID vaccination is required. Reasonable accommodations will be considered
