The Surgery Sourcing Specialist will deliver excellent customer service and sales support through timely, accurate, and complete sourcing of sets for our Spinal Implants and Orthobiologics product portfolios. S/he will work with teams across the Company to ensure that Distributor and customer needs are handled in a professional and thorough manner for both pre-sales and post-sales assistance. In this high-accountability, high-impact role, the Surgery Sourcing Specialist directly support revenue goals through direct management of all order types via multiple channels and ERP systems.
Your key responsibilities
- Support assigned Distributor partners/accounts to the extent they are equipped to meet all sales and revenue objectives and support growth opportunities
- Partner and clearly communicate with all levels of SeaSpine leadership and cross functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Consignment
- Pro-actively find solutions for issues that impact our ability to meet sales revenue goals by discussing and finding solutions for primarily product and pricing
- Process consignment and loaner set sourcing stock requests and ensure on-time, accurate and complete delivery to meet cases, including rebooks, unable to source facilitation, case creation, field transfers, couriers, addition to consignment, expedites, and deviations
- Work with Consignment Team to locate product in the field when stock-outs occur at the distribution center for scheduled cases
- Review backorders for appropriate disposition and follow up with Distributors, Planners, and Customers as required
- Participate in on-boarding activities with new Distributor partners
- Identify notable issues with overall allotment of consignment inventory to maximize utilization and minimize additional requirements that may be unnecessary
- Manage inventory requests of newly launched products under Controlled Marketing Release (CMR) shipping within approved distribution channels and maintaining release controls
- Communicate requests to appropriate Product Managers and other cross functional teams
- Maintain regional case load schedules to effectively manage loaner inventory
- Maintain a comprehensive library of reference and historical data on distributor, customers and product information in compliance with Quality controls
- Collaborate with the Consignment Team to ensure all set requests that are not going to be fulfilled are properly communicated to the field
- Maintain proper documentation and implementation of all order types in Implant Base and Oracle ERP received by phone, fax or other sources, proactively ensuring any duplicate orders are eliminated
- Review and manage customer replenishment back orders and provide frequent updates and ETA’s
- Initiate pricing discount documentation per established procedures
- With a sense of urgency, investigate and resolve complaints and issues to provide viable options and solutions, and follow appropriate protocol with managing initial receipt and communications as related to Quality procedures
- Participate in on on-call coverage in a regular monthly cadence which includes holidays and emergency coverage
Who you are
- High School diploma or equivalent,
- Bachelor’s degree - preferred
- 2 year customer service experience
- 1 years of Spine customer service experience or 6 months SeaSpine customer service experience - REQUIRED
- Mastery of the English language with ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written correspondence with all levels of the organization, distributorships, hospitals, and other vendors worldwide
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively, prioritize and smoothly manage goals and initiatives amidst competing priorities
- Critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and ability to problem solve and establish solutions in a high-growth and fast-paced environment
- 1 years’ experience as a SeaSpine Customer Account Specialist
- Experience with Oracle and ImplantBase
