Position Description
This position will perform Research Assistant and Administrative duties for Participant outreach for the Transformative Movements Project.
Research
This person will aid in research, including library and web/article searches, reading transcripts or literature for themes and writing summaries.
Administration
This position requires weekly meeting attendance to touch base on the project, communicating with participants regarding the upcoming retreat, and scheduling meetings and zoom follow-ups.
For meetings there will be zoom invites, meeting reminders, and requests for each participant.
It is essential that this position be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products in order to create electronic and printed materials.
Retreat
For the upcoming retreat, this position will be required to set up rooms, act as a liaison on-site with participants and site employees, handle participant needs, communicate with SU personnel regarding any emergencies, and also provide audio recording and tech support as needed.
General
There will be a lot of emails, lists, reminders, and dates to stay on top of which requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and great communication.
This position will be required to effectively maintain records of documents and emails, staying on top of details and checking in with other team members whenever a question arises.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or related experience.
