What you get to do
As a Guest Arrival Ambassador in Guest Relations and / or the Welcome Center, you will be assisting our guests at the guest relations windows with redemption of season passes, as well as reconciling any guest issues or concerns. You will :
Present a welcoming experience to guests while promoting company products, providing park information, and solving guest concerns
Consistently interact with guests while maintaining a professional demeanor and providing exceptional guest service
Work to resolve complex guest concerns seeking a win-win solution within company guidelines and strategic objectives. Handle guest concerns (complaints, compliments, lost & found, EZpay)
Process Season Passes, tickets, and upgrades
Sell, process, and enter reservations for Dining, Magic Queue, and Special Events
Communicate with other departments and locations to ensure guest satisfaction
Answer general park information and sales product questions
Performing the duties of the Guest Arrival Ambassador; will still occasionally be required to work at the Turnstiles or in Parking
What it takes to succeed
Preferred proficiency in Online Order Management and / or Point of Sale systems
A passion for customer service
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
Outstanding communication abilities; Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs
Ability to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment
Flexibility to perform varied duties
What else is important
At least 16 years of age
High School Diploma preferred
No significant performance deficiencies within a 1 year period
Must be able to lift, push, pull and / or carry up to 50 lbs
Perform the following physical activities : kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist / waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools / keyboard / writing)
Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and extreme cold
Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
