Position Responsibilities
Our Officers are responsible for providing quality physical security at the client site. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Protecting staff and residents, particularly in facilities that house the criminally insane.
- Controlling entrance and exit.
- Protecting patient information.
- Patrolling the building and its grounds.
- Monitoring all activity in and out of the building
- Endeavoring to prevent vandalism, theft, fire, and disturbances within the facility.
- Handling and de-escalating high-stress or problematic situations.
- Mitigating and neutralizing threats.
Qualifications
- Only applicants who have an active Unarmed DCSPO
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have at least 3 years of security experience.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Shift: Wednesday: 5:30pm-11:30pm; Thursday-Saturday: 11:30am-11:30pm
