Entry Level Human Resources Manager
Location: Anchorage, AK
Salary Range: $50k to $55k Benefits Package & Perks
We are searching for an Entry Level HR Manager to help support the Anchorage, AK office. This position is responsible for hiring, on-boarding, training, employee relations, labor relations, unions, workers compensation, FMLA, basic HR functions and assists with recruiting as needed. This role will also ensure compliance with company policies, federal and local state laws.
To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and be able to function in a high-pressure environment. This is a management level hands on generalist role.
HR Manager Requirements:
- Associates Degree / 1-year experience in an HR role preferred.
- Ability to advise management
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Acts to ensure compliance with FLSA and other applicable states and regulations.
- Computer literacy /tech savvy
- Calm, polite and professional behavior.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- High level customer service.
