What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead 2nd shift position at Securitas?
Securitas Security Services is looking to hire a Shift Lead Officer to work on the 2nd shift with our client in Danvers, MA.
This is a corporate environment including office cubicles, conference rooms, laboratories and other working spaces. As a Shift Lead Officer you will work with another officer on 2nd shift and brief the 3rd shift staff before your shift ends.
Our Security Officers work closely with our clients and client staff. The right candidate for this highly rewarding job will be professional, motivated, and ready to learn.
Previous customer service experience required.
The position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by :
- Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy
- Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed;
notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations
- In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts
- Prepares, files and submits various reports as required
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
