As a company with two decades of experience, our clients include the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Services (DHS/FPS); Department of Defense, Pentagon Force Protection Agency (DoD/PFPA), Department of the Army and Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DoS/DS) National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE).

Responsibilities

Lieutenant for Pentagon Force Protection Agency

Part-time weekend ONLY positions

Objective

This position is under the direct supervision of the Captain for assigned shift of the security department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

Essential functions
  • Performs security patrols.
  • Records and documents daily events.
  • Directs and Supervises personnel assigned.
  • Completes reports and assignments as directed.
  • Enforces access control procedures.
  • Protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
  • Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations.
  • Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned by a security lieutenant, captain and/or security program manager.

Qualifications

Candidate Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must Be 21 years of age
Must be high school/GED graduate
Minimum five (5) years law enforcement/security officer/military experience showing a successful history of increasing levels of responsibility.
Must posses a clearance level of Secret issued by U.S. Department of Defense
Armed DCJS License

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

The applicant is required to submit to pre-employment medical exam and drug screening.
The applicant must be able to pass an NLIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check (as applicable).
The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Physical Agility Test (PAT).
The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Firearms Qualification (FAQ).
