School Security Guard

***Candidate must be able to work first and second shift, must also have immaculate background check***

Security Associates of Coastal Georgia, LLC is now hiring for a School Resource Officer. Shift hours would vary between 6a-6p. Security experience required.

Do you have what it takes to be successful?

Reliable transportation? As part of the security team, we rely on you to be at your post as scheduled. We understand that things happen, but we require enough advance notice to cover your post without disruption in service. Frequently arriving late, or leaving without relief even once, will not be tolerated.

We use a time-keeping app which is required for payroll. You should have a phone and service to utilize the app, but the phone should otherwise be kept tucked away. You are responsible for being attentive and should not be watching television, engaging in personal phone calls or otherwise distracted by mobile devices.

We require logging reports on an ipad. You should have basic tech skills to log in and report on activities/incidents occurring during your shift.

We provide the training necessary for success and our growth provides qualified candidates with opportunities for advancement.

At least 21 years old.

U.S. citizen or registered resident alien.

High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Drug-free with no criminal or felony record.

Successful completion of Georgia Mandate Security Training is a plus.

Ability to communicate in English, including effective reading and writing skills.

Ability to work all shifts.

Dependable transportation.

Strong customer service orientation.

Computer literacy.

Physical ability to secure premises and perform routine tasks such as standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
