As the Vice President of Finance for Security Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial and accounting functions across the US and Mexico. Operating with minimal supervision, you will lead diverse teams responsible for Accounts Payable, Operational (Branch) & GAAP Accounting, Cash Management/Treasury, and Income Tax departments. Your responsibilities include overseeing vendor agreements, risk management, and maintaining key banking relationships.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide overall direction for finance-related activities and departments, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to financial best practices.
- Credit Facility Management: Negotiate credit facility agreements, asset-based loans, letters of credit, and key vendor agreements.
- Risk Management: Participate in Investment and Risk Management reviews, ensuring the company's financial health.
- Budget Oversight: Engage in Operational Budget reviews and pro-forma modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Cash Management: Safeguard the company's liquidity by overseeing cash management functions, maintaining banking relationships, and identifying new banking strategies.
- Tax Oversight: Manage all aspects of the company's taxes, including income, payroll, and sales/use, and implement tax planning strategies.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support for branch procedures and systems, managing regulatory reporting requirements.
- Executive Advisory: Support CFO, COOs, President, and other executives, advising on financial issues, compliance, mergers/acquisitions, and divestitures.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience with at least 10 years at the management level.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant.
- Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of finance, treasury management, general accounting principles, federal and state tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervisory Skills: Proven supervisory capabilities with the ability to manage through subordinate Managers.
- Global Experience: Experience working with Latin America is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with all levels of company personnel and management.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literate with excellent Excel skills; experience working in Concur, SharePoint, PeopleSoft preferred.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of Accounting/Business Administration/Finance.
