ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This is not a “typical” sales position. This internship is a great opportunity to use your entrepreneurial talents and excel professionally as you work on a sales team in a fast-paced environment. Assurity will work around your school schedule and provide a paid internship where you will learn about recruiting nationwide brokers to sell Assurity products and services. This is not a life insurance agent position – we only sell our products through brokers. We are looking to recruit students with a desire to learn and promising sales potential. Assurity’s sales internship will provide the following opportunities:
- Gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry and Assurity’s products and services
- Developing your sales leadership and management skills
- Assisting regional sales managers and internal wholesalers with the management of their territory
- Traveling with sales leadership and regional sales managers to gain real-world sales experience.
- Recruiting brokers through proven methods and techniques (No cold calling required!)
- Fostering relationships with brokers to help grow their business and regional sales territories
- Networking with insurance professionals locally and throughout the U.S.
