Summary Of Position
Performs administrative activities for Security First Managers (Company). Focuses on new business conversion and retention for in-house agency and strategic partners. Coordinates new business sales calls, processes web-generated quotes, and assists strategic partners with lead conversion from diverse sources.
Salary plus Incentive Bonus Program

Essential Job Functions
Submits new business quotes and applications within carrier eligibility guidelines; completes documentation requirements in compliance with each carrier's guidelines
Pre-qualifies new business applicants based on carrier eligibility and underwriting guidelines
Provides professional guidance to agency customers on coverage, options, and endorsements
Requests and maintains appropriate agency file documentation to support risk selection and eligibility
Assists customers with endorsements, coverage changes, and inquiries regarding their policy
Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks related to business activities
Ensures effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and management of risks
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures
Maintains a customer service orientation and positive image of the Company
Responds to emergency call-ins for critical events
May be required to work additional hours in the event of a natural catastrophe
Maintains positive communication and interaction with Company personnel, external organizations, and the public
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships regardless of diverse backgrounds
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
One (1) year of experience in a related field
OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
Certifications And Licenses
May be required to possess a valid state of Florida driver's license
Florida Property and Casualty (P&C) 440 license
Insurance industry designations or trade certifications as required
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Florida homeowners' insurance, retail sales, or recognized industry designation
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of clerical procedures, word processing, managing files and records
Knowledge of providing high-quality customer service
Skill in Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn new software
Skill in establishing positive relationships and effective communication
Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing
Ability to follow instructions and perform required math calculations
Ability to attend work punctually according to schedule
