SUMMARY: Provides accounting and administrative support to the accounting manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes accounts receivable, accounts payable, and incoming payments
Performs general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
Performs day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
Prepares bills, receivables, invoices and bank deposits
Verifies discrepancies while resolving billing issues
Facilitates payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills
Reconciliation of credit card statements and various other types of statements
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years Experience with Quick Books
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Preferred:
2 Years Experience with Quick Books
Experience using Microsoft Excel
