Job description

Access Control & Security Camera Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair access control systems and IP-based surveillance systems
  • Program and troubleshoot electronic access control devices
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of access control systems
  • Respond to service calls and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding access control systems
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Operate company vehicles to complete work on, and of property (Scissor lift, Boom lift, etc.).


Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience with IP-based camera systems
and access control systems
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ networking experience to configure and program
networking devices such as wireless access points, routers, modems, switches, and NVRs
  • Experience in telecommunication or related field
  • Experience in locksmithing techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in access control installation and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience with Burglar Alarm systems is preferred
  • Technical experience with solar preferred


This position requires a high level of technical expertise in access control systems. The Access Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and security of access control systems for various clients. The role involves installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electronic access control devices. The specialist will also provide technical support to customers and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
